Annotation: The article researched the trends of modern regional policy in tourism on the example of the Republic of Crimea, the role of local authorities in the development of the tourism industry and creating conditions for self development of economic entities operating in the tourism sector. It is concluded that regulation of the tourism sector in Crimea on the part of the authorized state bodies is still under development.
