Annotation: The article views potential of dialogues in teaching foreign languages at the basic stage. It reveals and systemizes linguistic and psychological features of dialogical speech. It proves the role of dialogues in forming general communicative personality’s culture. The article concludes about significance of dialogue as the transitive link between the simplest forms of communication to its complex forms.
