DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2024-2-21-32
Keywords: quality of education, edutech, parallel interdisciplinary integration, chemical informatics, inverse problems, Scilab
Annotation: The features of solving inverse problems within the framework of the educational technology of parallel interdis- ciplinary integration of chemistry and computer science are presented: discussion of the meaningful formulation and transition to a mathematical problem at chemistry seminars, implementation of the solution in a software environment in computer classes and subsequent analysis of the obtained results at chemistry seminars. The emphasis on solving chemical problems familiar to students using various software tools is justified. Special at- tention is paid to software tools for solving equations and systems of equations. The main thematic blocks related to solving inverse problems are described: problems for mixing solutions (fractional linear equations), problems for the interaction of a mixture of metals with oxidizing acids (systems of linear equations), problems for chemical equilibrium (nonlinear equations-polynomials). The sequence of blocks is determined by the complexity of both chemical tasks and software tools for their solution. The results of the application of the developed educational technology are presented at the Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies of the Russian Technological University, which indicates its effectiveness.
DIGITAL TRANSLATION METHODS IN THE CONTEXT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION: CORPORA APPROACH
Release: 2024-1 (46)
DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2024-1-23-30
Keywords: digital technologies, corpora, lexicon, translation methods, foreign language, culture, genre, foreign language skills
Annotation: The article describes the use of corpora as promising translation methods in the context of foreign language education. Corpus-driven approaches is known to have become popular in lexicography following digital tech- nological advances. This method have made it possible for computer programs to process vast amounts of data very rapidly. The purpose of the study: to identify the main role of corpora in teaching a foreign language. The following research methods are: content analysis of scientific literature on the research topic, interpretation, systematization, structuring. The following results are obtained: currently the problem of corpus approach use as digital means to solve foreign language education issues are relevant due to Foreign language study enhances human’s opportunities in technologies. It is necessary to create a link between the digital society and humanitar- ian education, that is, digital culture. The use of corpus technologies can provide significant assistance in the professional activities of a foreign language teacher. The corpus approach is an important tool in organizing the learning process, finding the necessary content of educational tools, and its application can ensure the quality of teaching a foreign language. In conclusion it is noted that expanding the corpus capacity to translate texts contributes to the diversification of learning processes through digital technologies.
THE TRANSFORMATION OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF A NEW NORMALITY
Release: 2024-3 (48)
DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2024-3-25-34
Keywords: pedagogical science, social system of scientific knowledge production, new normality, transformation of science
Annotation: The article is devoted to the consideration of the category “social system of scientific pedagogical knowledge production” as a product of specialized scientific work. The factors influencing the forming and development of pedagogical science in the conditions of a new normality are highlighted, which are characterized by the rapid emergence of new phenomena and systemic changes that differ sharply from the previous ones. A systematics of trends in the field of pedagogical education reforms is given. The basic principles of the transformation of pedagogical science in the period of the forming of a new reality caused by the instability of the social situa- tion are formulated. The scientific and methodological concept of the development of pedagogical science as a social institution for the production of scientific pedagogical knowledge, an adaptive transition to a qualitatively new state of educational systems through an adequate response to changes in the external environment in the conditions of a new normality is proposed. Through a survey of participants in the network collaboration of the Ural Federal District, the most important problems in the reform of teacher education are highlighted. The results of the study provide grounds for a better understanding of the process of transformation of pedagogical science in the context of a new normality, clarifying the results of the changes being made and can be used to justify management decisions.
THE STUDENT’S NETWORK PERSONALITY: SOME ASPECTS OF THE PROBLEM
Release: 2024-4 (49)
DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2024-4-26-31
Keywords: student’s network personality, virtual reality, hybrid practices, network thinking, network identity, network mobility, digital addiction, symbolism
Annotation: The article explores the concept and problems of the student’s network personality. The focus is on the fact that this phenomenon has multiple meanings and can have different effects. The socio-cultural and psychological characteristics inherent in the network personality are revealed. The necessity of the study of the learner’s net- work personality due to the digital changes in the sphere of education is emphasized. It is noted that existence in a hybrid – real and virtual – world has a contradictory effect on the forming of the network personality of the student, on the processes of functioning of individual consciousness and thinking, the development of behav- ioural strategies. Attention is drawn to the phenomenon of network identity. The possibilities of social networks in the realization of various forms of identity, including alternative ones, are considered. The role of symbols and simulacra in the forming of worldview, social and educational attitudes of students is traced. The inherent illusory nature of virtuality is considered, the negative consequences of illusory representations for the existence of an individual and a student is revealed. The influence of virtual social mobility on social actions of network individuals is studied, its advantages in terms of opportunities for self-realization are revealed.
ON THE PRINCIPLES OF PRACTICAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Release: 2024-1 (46)
DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2024-1-31-40
Keywords: professional tourism education, tourism and hospitality industry, principles of practical training
Annotation: The article is devoted to the study of the principles of practical training in professional tourism education. The presented results of the methodological research are an overview of the experience obtained as a result of practi- cal pedagogical activity in the system of tourist education in the context of a competence-based approach. The local elements of novelty in the work are contained in an attempt to summarize the empirical and pedagogical experience of approbation of the principles of practical training of students in professional competencies: the axiological principle; the recreational principle; the principle of individualization; the principle of integrity; the principle of communication; dialectical principle; the principle of continuity; structural and substantive princi- ple; the principle of hierarchy; the principle of market orientation of practical training. The authors conclude that professional tourism education in higher school should be based on a system of links between the main components of the content, the organization of various forms, principles and methods of teaching, which are implemented and assimilated in the course of practical activities of students.
