QUEST GAME IN ENGLISH AS A TOOL FOR ADAPTATION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS TO THE UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT

Page:45-53

Release: 2025-1 (50)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2025-1-45-53

Annotation: The article is devoted to the relevant problem of socio-cultural and psychological adaptation of foreign students entering Russian universities. The importance of adaptation is determined by its stable correlation with further education, its effectiveness. Based on the included observation and generalization of their own pedagogical experience, the authors of the article attempted to analyze the features of the adaptation process, which is an integral component of academic migration, and also described the tools developed for its mitigation. The results of the survey among foreign students based on the author’s questionnaire made it possible to establish the rela- tionship between the level of adaptation and the level of proficiency in the English and Russian languages. The authors of the article come to the conclusion about the demand for English language and the need to popular- ize its usage in the academic environment in the context of intensification of academic mobility processes. The quest game in English developed and tested by the authors is an effective tool for primary integration into a new cultural environment. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed tools for adaptation of foreign students in various educational institutions.

THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF METHODS OF OPTIMIZATION OF SMALL LANGUAGE MODELS FOR EFFICIENT GENERATION OF SQL QUERY IN EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Page:54-67

Release: 2025-1 (50)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2025-1-54-67

Annotation: The article presents research on the optimization of small language models for efficient generation of SQL queries in conditions of limited computing resources of educational institutions. The objective of the study is to develop and implement optimization methods aimed at reducing the requirements for computing resources while main- taining high accuracy of SQL query generation. The methodology is based on an integrated approach, including quantization of model parameters, optimization of weight coefficients and adaptation of the dictionary to the subject area. The empirical base includes Spider, CoSQL benchmarks and a specialized DSBInf (Data Solutions Business Intelligence) dataset of 3424 queries. The developed SQL_DS_60M_ft model (a model for generating responses based on a structured query language), based on the CodeS architecture, demonstrates significant improvements: a 33 % reduction in size, a 1.4-fold increase in processing speed and an 18 % decrease in RAM usage while maintaining 65.0 % accuracy. Practical implementation of the model in the educational process showed an increase in learning efficiency by 35–40 % when working with databases and business analytics.

SECURE DATA STORAGE: METHODS AND APPROACHES

Page:68-76

Release: 2025-1 (50)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2025-1-68-76

Annotation: The article describes the key aspects of the secure storage of organizational data in the modern world. The most common threats such as social engineering, configuration vulnerabilities, and insider attacks are discussed. The analysis of existing approaches to secure data storage in terms of software and hardware and their functional interaction in the information security system is carried out. Based on the results of the analysis, a prototype application was built using existing approaches and minimal risk of data leakage. Practical recommendations on choosing key ways to securely store data are presented. A methodology for projecting a secure environment based on a comprehensive review of technical, organizational and regulatory aspects is proposed. The novelty of the result obtained lies in the forming of a new multi-layered approach to data protection, including a single standard for the interaction of services. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of direct application of the proposed methods within industrial systems, which will increase the level of security and reliability of confidential information processing.

AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO STRUCTURAL MODELING IN THE INFORMATION FIELD

Page:77-83

Release: 2025-1 (50)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2025-1-77-83

Annotation: The level of requirements for information processing is continuously increasing and therefore, the methods of its processing are also changing. Widely used structural modeling methods are object-topological, which limits their application to spatial objects. The article examines the problems of constructing structures in the information field. The information field is formed as a reflection of objects and processes of reality in the form of informa- tion images. The article proposes an integrative approach that uses the properties of the information field in combination with aggregative and stratification approaches. The integrative approach is based on the principle of forming aggregates or information layers. Each information layer is an aggregate that contains categorically and qualitatively similar information images. The structural scheme is formed on the basis of the composition of information layers. The integrative approach ensures comparability of schemes for different objects and patterns within the information field. The proposed approach can be considered as a variant of qualitative and quantita- tive analysis of the modeled objects. The proposed integrative approach makes it possible to solve the problems of clear and fuzzy structure construction, for example, the construction of clear and fuzzy cognitive maps.

SOCRATES AND PLATO – FOR MODERN STUDENTS (HISTORICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL, WORLDVIEW AND DIDACTIC ASPECTS)

Page:84-97

Release: 2025-1 (50)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2025-1-84-97

Annotation: The relevance of the topic is determined by significant educational losses, largely related to the process of digitali- zation, which inevitably entails significant technocratization, bureaucratization, formalization and alienation of the content of both secondary and higher education in Russia from those who acquire it. The object of the research is the teaching of a general philosophy course to students of higher educational institutions of non-philosophical areas and training profiles in modern educational conditions. The subject of the research is the study and teaching in the general philosophy course of the main ideas of the two most important historical and philosophical figures who set the timeless basic content of such a form of spiritual culture of mankind as philosophy – Socrates and Plato. The purpose of the work is a pedagogical demonstration that, depending on the specifics of teaching phi- losophy, it can be made both repulsive and attracting the cognitive interest of the student audience. The research methods are deductive and inductive conclusions, analogical conclusions, idealization, abstraction, pedagogical observation and empirical generalization, comparative analysis and thought experiment. The result of the work and one of its conclusions is the substantiation of a kind of “pedagogical theorem” that a simple, clear and re- alistic presentation of any material greatly increases the level of educational interest of the student audience and the degree of learning effectiveness. The application area of the research results is ideological heuristics, philo- sophical enlightenment, teaching philosophy and other social and humanitarian disciplines in higher education.
