Page:37-41

Release: 2020-2 (31)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2020-2-37-41

Annotation: The article is devoted to the problem of reflecting some processes of language system development in up-to-date language teaching aids. Language is a complex self-sustained system which is characterised by the processes of simplification and reduction today, as well as the appearance of “pigeons” and its position of “lingua franca” that is reflected in all language aspects and basic skills. The notions under study are viewed in terms of their influence on the effectiveness and outcomes of the educational process as maintained in the National Curriculum. The problem highlighted stems from the fact that those processes and peculiarities of the language system are not covered by the majority of textbooks, which leads to the discrepancy between the requirements of unified state examinations and students’ preparation for them. The article includes examples of simplification and reduction in the language system. The reasons for these phenomena are analysed and possible solutions are offered, namely the revision of currently used textbooks and their adaptation to the modern language system development features, so that the abovementioned contradictions would be neutralised while training children to pass their final exams.

Page:29-36

Release: 2020-1 (30)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2020-1-29-36

The traditional way of teaching philosophy in the context of digitalization of education only strengthens this stereotype among young people. The article considers the modern educational trends in the teaching of the fundamental humanities, one of which is memoization as a digital educational practice. The realization of this practice is possible in the conditions of mixed and project training, gamification of education and edutainment. The application of memoization practice in the educational process is analyzed by the example of the Philosophy in Memes contest held at the Ural State Pedagogical University (Yekaterinburg). As a result, the authors come to the conclusion about the actualization of philosophical knowledge, the motivation of students to study philosophy, their involvement in the process of philosophizing through the rethinking, criticism and deconstruction of classical philosophical ideas through the creation of memes.

The relevance of the research is due to the fact that the teacher’s self-actualization is the leading condition for improving his professional skills, ensuring the formation of the student’s self-actualizing personality. However, in the situation of online learning, there are problems that hinder their effective communication, which require study and solution. Particular attention is paid to the essence of the humanistic communication strategy as a condition for the self-actualization of interaction partners. As a result of the study, it was possible to establish that the main problems of teacher self-actualization in professional activity include the depersonalization of communication between teacher and students in the process of online interaction, which requires the development and implementation of new effective educational technologies. Based on the systematization of current scientific facts, it is shown that the implementation of the humanistic strategy allows the teacher to become an effective facilitator of the learning process and professional education of students. The vectors of further development of methods of self-actualization of subjects of the educational process of the university in the conditions of online learning are indicated.

Page:60-64

Release: 2020-3 (32)

DOI: 10.21777/2500-2112-2020-3-60-64

Annotation: The article analyzes the implementation of an interdisciplinary project on the topic “Healthy lifestyle” at the language faculty of a pedagogical University. The goal of the project is, on the one hand, to improve the communicative competence of the studied topic, on the other – to attract the attention of students to a socially significant problem and to form a negative attitude to smoking. During the implementation of the project, students are required not only to have the main communicative competence in a foreign language, but also to deal with modern computer technologies used in educational activities. The success of the project largely depends on the students’ readiness for independent cognitive and analytical activities, their ability to self-organize and build their own educational route.
