Annotation: The purpose of the article is to justify the choice of web services for conducting distance classes in educational institutions during the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that due to the sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in 2020, almost all Russian educational institutions were forced to switch to remote learning, which in turn caused the need to search, master and integrate services for hosting web conferences into educational process. The work carried out an empirical study and a pedagogical experiment on the basis of the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University. K. Minin. Based on the results of the research, the main provisions of the methodology for choosing web services for conducting classes in a distance format in educational institutions have been determined. The results of a survey of teachers of secondary and higher education institutions on the choice of the preferred web service and tools are described and interpreted. Conclusions are made about the advantages and disadvantages of web services for distance education available on the market; in accordance with different criteria, recommendations are given on the choice of a web service, taking into account the specifics of classes and educational institution.

Formation of general professional competencies for effective performance of professional tasks

Annotation: The article considers an example of using the concept of Ecole 42 school as one of the possible methodologies for the formation of General and General professional competencies for students who are studying middlelevel training programs at an economic University. The relevance of forming such General professional competencies as information search, analysis and application for solving professional tasks is explained by the tasks set by the Federal project “Personnel for the digital economy”. The application of the concept of this school in the implementation of the content of work programs of some General professional disciplines contributes to the development of analytical (in fact, research) abilities of students to interpret the selected information necessary for the implementation of tasks of future professional activity. Some examples of practical tasks in the author’s interpretation of the application of the chosen concept of General professional competence formation are given.

Annotation: The article is devoted the prospects of dominance of online education in relation to the traditional system of teaching in Russian universities. The preconditions of such changes are revealed, rooted, firstly, in the formation of the global information society, and secondly, in the needs dictated by the latter in a new type of employee with a fundamentally different from the established classical educational profile. The article is divided into two interrelated blocks: the first one analyzes the vector of movement of domestic universities to the dominant of online education. It analyses both the positive and possible negative aspects of this process, but emphasizes the steady increase in the scale of the changes taking place. The second section is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of Millennials as the main subjects and consumers of modern online education. In the final part, socio-cultural and technological recommendations are given, which, according to the author of the article, should mitigate the consequences of the transition to modern forms of University education for both the faculty and Russian students.

Annotation: This article is devoted to one of the main problems of modern educating system – the building of relationships between teachers and students. The aim of this study is to define the set of teacher’s competences necessary for establishing psychological relationships between students and teachers. Among the objectives of this article is the description of the most important teacher’s competences; their individual characteristics; identification of ways of to increase motivation in the study of a professionally oriented foreign language. Authors pay particular attention to the psychological conditions of educational process, define the important role of technical means of education which help to intensify the process of education, to increase the motivation of students to learning. The article discusses the methods and techniques of work which help the teacher to intensify students’ involvement in the process of learning in spite of certain particularities of their way of information perception thus helping them to achieve their educational goals successfully.

Annotation: The article addresses the problems that do not lose their relevance for teachers of Russian as a foreign language: effective development of speech skills, elimination of the imbalance between the formation of language and speech skills, effective use of professional texts. The purpose of the article is to develop a system of tasks for the complex formation of language and speech skills using the example of working with professional texts. The proposed system of tasks allows, based on the communicative-functional learning strategy, to activate speech activity. The proposed tasks are aimed at producing speech: dialogues, individual statements, coherent texts on professional topic. They simulate real educational and professional communicative situations. Performing them, the student does not go through the stages from passive reception of the text to the construction of his own statements, but immediately begins to work in a communicative mode.
