Annotation: The article presents analysis of capabilities of Lesson-Study technology for development of teachers’ professional competences and identifies the features of its usage in teaching practice. The relevance of the research is substantiated by importance of teacher’s professional growth under present conditions of reforming Russian education, as well as by increasing attention to studying the relevant foreign pedagogical experience, particularly, the experience of using Lesson-Study for developing and improving teaching and learning processes. The article reveals Lesson-Study content (a pedagogical approach that characterizes a special form of сlass activity research, aimed at improving teacher’s practical knowledge). Lesson-Study genesis is described as well. The attitude of modern scholars and teachers to using Lesson-Study for professional competences development is analyzed. The stages of Lesson-Study implementation are highlighted and its advantages are listed.

Annotation: The article deals with the use of innovative technologies in higher education and their role in the training of highly professional personnel in the field of law. The author reveals the experience of using such methods and forms of work as the method of projects, “case study” (training with the use of specific educational situations), business and role-playing games, grammatical modeling, training technologies (training of business communication, personal development, communication skills).

Annotation: The article discusses the impact of communication technologies on the social development of XIX–XX century and early XXI century. It is concluded that the progress of technology over the two time periods led to similar consequences. Result of the development of communication media has been the transformation of social institutions, democratization or destabilization of existing political regimes. Emergence of new means of communication at the turn of XIX–XX centuries was preceded by the formation of a modern information society.

Annotation: The article considers the labor potential of the head of local self-government. A sociological survey was conducted and the results were processed. The hierarchical structure of labor potential is built. The characteristics of the labor potential of the head of local self-government in the order of their priority are arranged. The relation of subordinates (municipal employees and employees of local government) to labor potential of the head and to its separate characteristics is analyzed.

Annotation: The article is devoted to the actual problem for modern pedagogy of higher school-the identification of organizational and pedagogical conditions for self-actualization in the educational process of students and teachers. The author pays considerable attention to the substantiation of reference points for the teacher’s choice of appropriate learning technologies, which include: opportunities for creating a space of free choice and creative knowledge; opportunities for polysubject interaction. The analysis of modern active technologies and methods from the specified positions allows revealing their special potential in providing necessary conditions for selfactualization of subjects of educational process.
