Annotation: The article examines the influence of the image of the junior schoolchildren on conflict. Purpose: to examine the characteristics of the influence of the image of self on conflict in the younger school age; The study of the influence of self-esteem on the conflicts of younger schoolchildren. The methodological basis of the study was LS Vygotsky’s ideas, LI Bozhovich, P.Ya. Galperin on the formation of the personality of the junior schoolboy, his Image of J. Hypothesis: self-esteem in younger school age influences the schoolchild’s conflict. It is shown that at this age, all components of the image of the self can influence the conflictual personality.
QUIZ AS A MEANS OF CHECKING KNOWLEDGE

Annotation: Post-Soviet social transformations touched upon all the sides of social life, including education both secondary and higher. Current educational reality principally differs from that of 30 years ago. One of the crucial reformation elements in education is considerable decrease of knowledge component and competence incline as well both at school and in university. Educational technologies also underwent considerable changes, which manifested in rating system, electronic testing, distant-learning implemented in the education process. The article attempts to estimate the efficiency of such changes and their influence on real forming students’ knowledge and competences. The key conclusion is the statement that the better is, probably, harmful for the good and one step forward means usually two following steps back. Meanwhile neglecting knowledge component inevitably leads to considerable decrease in quality of education level. The author suggests practical steps for increasing the level of knowledge forming and its checking by means of a quiz.

Annotation: The article views peculiarities of multifunctional computer environment “Psychometric Expert” for organizing medical psychologist’s automatized workstation in civil aviation. The article gives conclusion about the value of a united database of examinees for optimizing medical psychologist’s work in this sphere.

Annotation: This article is devoted to the problems of information technologies influence on the system of education and the impact of computer-based learning on overcoming students’ fears. Computerization of education is in rapid evolution and it affects the pace and the quality of education. There is a tendency to increase in the role of software used to improve the quality of teaching, cognitive interest and students’ liberation. The article deals with the concept of fear and the reasons for students’ fear in modern educational institutions. It presents the ways of information technologies implementation in the process of education, including distant learning, psychological diagnostics, introduction of interactive technologies. Much attention is given to the analysis of information technologies as means of overcoming students’ psychological stress. The results prove the necessity for extensive use of information technologies in the process of education as a means of psychological support for students in the course of their adaptation to the education system.
